Life is wonderful and can also be tough. As a therapist, I believe in creating collaborative, empathetic spaces in which each person feels empowered to heal and grow. I have the privilege of serving individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds using an integrative psychotherapeutic approach. From Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed, Relational Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to Mindfulness and Somatic techniques—I’m passionate about discovering unique ways to support folks facing challenges around a variety of mental health needs, including depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as the impacts of immigration status, poverty, LGBTQ+ identity, racial trauma, and other intersectional areas of marginalization. I hold an LMSW from Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work and an MFA from The New School, and I’m proud to serve as a therapist at both Minds Together and BCS Counseling in New York City. As a social worker, I’m also committed to achieving ecosocial justice through policy change and advocacy, and am a member of working groups with the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development, the Green Economy Coalition, and The Sierra Club, as well as being active in my local community.
