Estelle Bajou
I'm a French-American polymath, raised in a furniture factory town in the mountains of North Carolina. I'm based in New York City, and have loved traveling all over North America, to Central and South America, Europe, and to the Middle East--including Iraq in 2009--for projects.

At age nineteen I earned a BA in Theatre and Creative Writing from Bard College at Simon's Rock. I then earned an MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama.

Here you can view my acting reel, listen to some of my music, and a whole heap more.

You can also check out my first feature film project as a writer, Play Not a March for Victors Only, on IMDB. My first feature as an actor, subHysteria, and my debut album, Nite Light EP, are available on iTunes.

What I long for as I approach each new artistic opportunity is to continue—or begin, is it?—my development and practical education by working on material that feels perilous, unachievable, purposeful, and pleasurable, and with inspired collaborators who dazzle me with work beyond my current capacity. So far, I've been very lucky.
